Past Forward Pictures respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account info — name, email, hashed password. Used to authenticate you and email transactional notices (purchase receipts, password resets).
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number; we receive a transaction reference and metadata only.
• Viewing activity — what you watched, for how long, and where you stopped. Used for resume-watching, recommendation, and (anonymously aggregated) revenue-share calculations to film participants.
• Technical logs — IP, user agent, and request times. Kept up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Who we share with

We share data only with the third parties needed to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing & participant payouts (Stripe Connect).
• Cloudflare — hosting, DDoS protection, and video delivery.
• Email provider — for transactional email (receipts, verifications, password resets).

We do not sell your data, and we don’t use third-party ad networks.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time by emailing support@pastforwardpictures.com. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, viewing history, and library. Transaction records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication (your session token) and for keeping you signed in. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.
